Well the fiber optic thing works on a central light source, like what Chevrolet/GMC used in the early 70s. It may be hooked up to your gauge light wiring you will have to hunt around and follow the fiber cables back to it. I think the switches are all on the same light source, which can have a burned out bulb.

    Thanks ridgeline.
The optic thing is smoked, between it getting torn off the back side of the switch labels and getting eaten by critters, it needs completely replaced and I want to put the switches back to stock and in working order.
And as I have stated before I don't have much faith in our local parts dept and want to get as close as possible before calling or find a online source for the optic thing and the switches if they are bad and not just a wiring problem.

The switches are the type with the end that I believe should be lit Wether its on or off I guess...i have nothing. I got lights to all gauges now.
