Thanks for the well wishes. I will definitely keep what you said in mind. From what I have come to understand from this site, as well as former jobs, is that respect is key. Mostly because the trainer already has his job and has already proven himself/ herself worthy of training. My job is to keep my eyes open, and ask questions and not to question my trainer. Thanks again for the advice, and I hope to see you on the road soon.![]()

Hey highirish, I got your message, but don't have enough posts to respond. I actually won't be going with PAM, because I had a speeding ticket with more than 19 over. I'll be going with USA truck instead. I decided to wait til after the holidays to start training. I'll hopefully be able to start with Driver Solutions in January as long as nothing goes wrong.

Good luck...if you are going to C-1 in st. louis beware of Gary in the classroom and Wally as a driving instructor...

Good wishes on your new start. I too am looking for a switch after over 30 years in Manafacturing. Mine is not so easy since I have kids at home. I have a friend who has been with PAM for 6 years and is satisified with them. The switch will be tough for me but I am looking for a way to get it done. The weight of responisibilty has taken it's toll and I have no desire to be responsible for anyone other than myself. Be cool.
