I can't figure how to post those pics of the overhead view, but this is the single most difficult place in 10 years I ever had to go to.

United Metal Traders Inc,5240, Comly Street, Philadelphia, PA

At the end of a dead end street. The water is in front of you, place to your left. They send out a guy to help you do a 3 point turn, in their yard and back out to turn you around for a sight side back, since you have no room due to water to safely do it blind side.

Then you back in off alley, with cars everywhere, utility pole in front of you, not much wider than the truck into this nasty crappy dirt lot with scrap metal everywhere.

Maybe someone can post pic for me.

Hey I deliver and pickup there alot for one of my customers. No sweet, I back 65 foot to 74 foot angle iron into those left doors closes to the bridge blindside with my big kenworth. Since the dock is a well I can’t even get out of the street because of the overhang on the trailer. Across the street they paved between the trees so you can pull up if need be. The best part is when you go back and pickup it up, its all been curved so doesn’t even go on straight.

    He made it look easy!

Good that he got out and looked. You can see the building on the passenger side and judge how close you are. But you have to check for obstructions sticking out of the brick face,, like a drain pipe or a water sprinkler standpipe.

Or worse a gas meter/valve low to the ground. Those are all over the chicago alleys.

Here Redd I'll help you out. If I have it right the red arrows are the way you went. The green arrows are for my question. Could you have turned to the right, then backed down to your door & backed in on your good side? Just asking.

That would be it. Along the water the dirt lot, kind of long and skinny with the one dock at the building, you have to back into it.

How did you embed? Where did you find the pic to imbed, thanks. And I still can't figure how to do it, I am feeling pretty dumb right now
