They told me at paccar (kw-pete) that they can up the power but they want to check the truck out and also look at the engine family and model to find out what parts the motor has to see what it can handle and yes it cost about a grand or more

I did the big d and I have issues because the dummy I paid to do it activated the progressive shift when he upped the speed to 88. Now the computer fights with itself at about 1450 rpms but that's gonna be fixed soon other than that the mileage went up and I mean UP also it's moving down the road till it gets to the limiter lol so all in all ya do the delete but make sure they don't put the speed past 85 that's all the computer can handle anything over that it could fudge your ECU up

Is this something that gets done through the davie sofware?
If I spend the money and buy that will I be able to plug in and reset it? -

Your a trashbag. Nobody is dissing on any engines here; but you of course. However my 2014 paccar mx13 has 691,876 on it and I'm still getting 7.4 average. And only replaced the AC compressor and coolant level tank. You've probably never had one.

My boat's anchor is better than both!
kuzima93, Roberts450, Itsbrokeagain and 3 others Thank this. -
No it's not, it's about dealers liability after they turn it up. If they turn it up past driveline specs and it tears the driveline out it's on them.

DAF engines are ok in Europe from what I’ve read long as there NO emissions on them.daf105paccar Thanks this.
