    I found out that you will need a good pair of sunglasses even if you have those nice transition lenses in your prescription glasses. The windshield glass in trucks have a UV blocker, as a result your transition lenses wont darken!.

    what about the GPS versions that are specifically for truckers? aren't those any good?

    I have one. Routes me thru downtown Atlanta....:biggrin_2556: Yet; going to logan aluminum in russelville KY it bypasses me on the truck route in a hick town like hop town...:biggrin_2556:

    DO most trucks in a fleet come with a CB radio and/or GPS? If not I was going to buy one. Would you recommend taking these items on the road as a tandom student driver?

    No; most come with the antennas. Hold up on the radio and GPS until you roll solo. You talking about tandem flatbed co?
