HEy all, time to ramble on a little bit here...

Man I love those Sun Glasses that are amber colored. Seems to brighrten things up in a shady way...

Body wipes are a quick fix to what stinks....Try fruits and veggies (bag of apples and/or oranges, bunch of bananas). My better half is a cardiac rehab nurse and preaches the heart healthy foods, which takes discipline on the road (Just say no to the chips)

What do you all think about those 5 hrs energy drinks...they seem to work for me and help me get off my last surviving vice --- PEPSI

I Plan on using my old camping and Army gear and, save some $$$. If it worked on my northern MN week long canoe trips, should work on the road. (Amry flight bag, sleeping bag w/ compression sack, misc):biggrin_25525:

Couple of principles to live by is "Use the common sense given to you by GOD Almighty" and "Keep It Simple Stupid". Last but not least is "treat people the way they want to be treated"...(think about that one).

God bless the newbies, and look forward to seeing you all down the road.

Should I bring a army bag, or duffel bags? I already have 2 duffel bags packed, and still need more stuff to bring like pillow's, bed sheets, blankets.

You are packing way too much. One duffel bag and then bungee your pillow to your sleeping bag

Well I want to stay out for months. I am trying to make some money, and not worry about going home until July.:biggrin_25522:

Your trainer is going to be pissed if you show up with that much stuff. You will want to set up your own truck when you get it, just ask for one, two day home time so you can pick up the rest of your stuff once you get your truck and then you can run. Trust me on this. he will have his own stuff in the truck and if I were your trainer, you would be sharing your small upper bunk with all your crap.

It's a duffel bag, and a army bag what so bad about that? I can lay the army bag on my bed while I am driving, I have no problem.

It was just advice based on experience. You certainly do not have to take it. Best of luck to you.
