Remember where ur trainer is at all times, but totally mind ur own business. My way of acknowledging respect was not to eat at same time, as my trainer, felt less obligated to be treated like a guest or a child.

Because many days on each others back in exact same time schedule needed a break! Use common sense.mvpofall and Prostreet1 Thank this. -

By the same token, doesn't that seem stand-offish? Sounds like it could very well lead to getting an elitist mentality, no? -
Thanks for posting this. Is this still good to go by? Do you need a briefcase?Last edited: Mar 27, 2011

A briefcase is not as popular as it used to be. I still like them. A lot of people use laptop carriers now. I also had one with my laptop. A briefcase is nice if you want to put your stuff in it and go inside and do paperwork or look at a map. All that stuff is easy to carry in one of them.engine312 Thanks this.

I don't know if anyone suggested this, as I didn't read every page, but I would advise new drivers or drivers in general to always have access to or carry $500 bucks or so for an emergency, like you need to get home from cali and you live in ga, or you have a death in the family and have to fly home or whatever. Lifesaver!!!!
CadetTrucker and Pipe Mike Thank this. -
I never would have thought about the ruler, sleeping bag or a briefcase to organize everything. Thanks so much for making this list. Now I can go shopping.
