I'm looking for something small. Would one of these fit the bill? :biggrin_2559:

I picked up a 2011 Laminated Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas on Ebay for $29 new... and a couple grease pencils. I thought it was a good deal.

thanks for all the lists and suggestions on here ... I picked up what I believe should be a proper amount of stuff. I'm taking a duffle, a backpack for use for showers, and a sleeping bag. Also, picked up a nice organizer that fits my huge PAM log book perfectly and has room for pens, ruler, calculator, etc.

Wow that is a lot of information. Seem like different people think of different things. I realize it is summer and in Arizona we get accustomed to the heat, but may end up in the Northeast or Northwest. It sure seems weird packing a jacket when it was 101 outside today. But better to be safe than sorry. :biggrin_25523:

Ok here's a question I think I know the answer to but going to ask anyway. I have a duffel bag, but it is pretty big (haven't measured it but guessing it's about 3' long, maybe 2'6"). From what I have seen of sleepers it would have to find a place to live and stay there as moving it around would be akin to watching the three stooges handle an extention ladder.

The other option would be a backpack. I have one for my motorcycle that can expand a bit larger and just barely fits a weeks worth of clothes but my shower kit, netbook case, dirty laundry bag, etc. would have to be stored somewhere. Whereas the duffel bag could hold everything including small pillow and sleeping bag. So the choice is keep everything consolidated and together in one place, or have lots of little things stuck in whatever cubby holes I can get.

I would choose the big bag that fits everything :biggrin_25517:
