I totally agree with you!!! I took a guy into downtown Los Angeles CA one time and I did what you said. He was scared to drive in the traffic, scared to drive over the Grapevine so like you said it is a slow process sometimes. Some guys like to jump in the seat and take the BULL BY THE HORNS so to speak and others are like THIS THING IS FREAK'N HUGE!! So you as an experianced driver has to watch and see how they act before you just turn it over to them..

    BE SAFE OUT THERE!!!

I agree. Plus if your a skateboard (like me) and you bath in cologne and then sweat like a pig then your really going to make that inclosed area smell great :) LOL!!!!! I used to run 11 western back in CA before we moved to TN and I met up with a fellow driver in AZ and I jumpped in his truck and I about fell right back out of it......Some people are just to messy!!:biggrin_25523:LOL

HAVE FUN OUT THERE AND BE SAFE!!!

. In my opinion, the school is pretty good. As for the instructor, its hit and miss. Our instructor was an ###. Our nickname for him was mean mike. Little man with short man syndrome. TIM, Steve and Daphne are really good. Jerome.come across hard but he was.good.once.we.got.to know him. I.wouldn't say they treat you like crap but they don't put up with crap either. Just keep your mouth shut, listen and do what they say. If anything they treat you Klein's you should already know the stuff, not like your an idiot. The track is a.couple of strAighTways, one you will get into 5th or 6th gear along with some left and.right turns. You will get a fair amount of time on the track. I alreAdy had my cdl so I got a lot more track time. Sorry this message had weird characters, etc but I'm using my cell... Hope I answered your questions.

i asked Monty Dail the dot officer that works with old blue and is on the trucking shows, He told me a propane stove is ok to carry in a truck, even hauling haz-mat, i carried one for a few years, always unhooked the bottle when i wasn't using it

Try changing the fan out for a bigger fan. My husband uses the same brand; had the same problem. Also, make sure there is plenty of air circulating around the fan, too.

We are talking about trucking... if your sensitive to smells like colognes and perfumes... you ain't gonna make it out here.... after a few trips around the fuel island you will be begging for some smelly perfumes...:biggrin_2554:
