    i found that waterless shampoo is really good to take with incase u cant shower everyday

    baby wipes are a must. found that out when my trainer wouldnt stop for 5 days at a time without showering they saved me from feeling 100% gross this way i only felt 85% gross

    Only 5 days? You were lucky. We were normally about 7 days and the most was a week and a half!

    Leaving for Swift in Abq, NM next wednesday (im local) for orientation.

    basically will pack 4 pants
    5 t shirts
    7 socks
    7 undies
    boots
    sneakers
    flip flops
    sleep bag
    pillow
    twin sheet
    snuggie for blanket
    mesh bag
    small back pack sized bag
    small lunch sized cooler
    shower bag for personal items
    clip board/calc/pens/spiral notebook/truck atlas
    glasses/spare contacts
    ipod touch (dont think Id need a laptop to worry about walking off)
    cell phone
    cpap machine/inverter
    jacket/gloves/1 or 2 fleece shirts

    I hope Im being reasonable and being military I think the steel boots are good to have also on the road

    Where might you find waterless shampoo at? I apologize if someone has answered this somewhere in this thread. I am in the process of reading all 50 some pages and taking notes as I go. Trying to make sure I have everything I might need and also being practical about it as well.

    I do not have a sleeping bag yet. Since it will be used in the truck, do I need to get a warm type sleeping bag since I assume the heat in the truck will keep the temp to room temperature even in the winter?

    It will depend on the company, if you have APO or a bunk heater and temp the trainer likes the sleeper........but that will only last a while, you will be team driving after a few short days.
