Well here is an excellent argument in favor of abortion!:biggrin_25521:

What happened to the rest of the alphabet?

It isn't right to start at the end....the alphabet song wouldn't sound right!:biggrin_25523:

So if its not a fmcsa rule to put a lock on a hazmat load, and only a california thing, then it appears I won't be getting any csa points.

    Depends.

What was cited on the inspection report. There is a catch all(I'm blanking on the number) about failure to follow local ordinance or law.

If it is on an inspection report and has a 3xx.xx nuber assigned go to the link they provided and see if that particular violation carries Carrier points.

Pete I was lead to believe the driver designation was pertaining to whether it showed on your PSP. Some things like being cited for no HUT or improper fuel tax stickers and overweight(why I have no friggin idea) would not show on PSP. I'll have to dig up the place I found that later.

Nope, anything that is wrote up on a Insp report is on your PSP report. Even clean Insp reports are listed on a PSP.
I had a level 2 in NM and got wrote up for one of are dumbarce drivers that went thru NM and didnt buy a trip permit. So NM waits for the next truck and when I went to buy mine they seen (per IFTA reports) that a truck had been in NM without a permit, I got the ticket 392.2 Local laws (general) and it was listed on my PSP.

Yep your right. I went back and looked it was under the proposed CSA2010 DSMS proposals. All the designation does is signify they may look at the driver during an intervention.

PSP is the hiring criteria for drivers.....you have points. They accumulate and roll 36 months based on violations. Some of our drivers have over 100 pts.

The common carrier next door has a 85 pt. limit for hiring. I would imagine Walmart has a zero limit. ( to be hired )

Like I have said...show me where you find your driver points on the FMCSA website.
You cant because drivers dont get assigned points the carrier dose.
Once you leave a carrier their stuck with your points you gave them, your PSP shows the new carrier what kind of grief, if any you caused your last carrier.
Your carrier can say your score is XX, when a better reply is you've cause our score to go up by XX points.
