    I was just quoted 7k to paint my entire truck (cab frame and axles) including inside all tool boxes. PPG industrial coating....

    seems how this thread got bumped back up ill include this video i have made sense on re-painting my truck myself



    material costs including consumables was right around $2k not counting labor costs as i did everything myself probably about 50-60 hours of time went into it.

    painted with dupont imron in a base clear.

    Two guys came out to the TA in Baytown Tx, looked the truck over...
    - remove chrome and lights.
    - lift sleeper only
    - (additional 1500$ to lift cab)
    - de-rust, clean, paint frame
    - minor body work (dings, ect. )
    - clean, paint Cat engine
    - remove chrome and lights.
    - paint sleeper and cab.
    - paint fenders

    - showed me work they've done
    - provided references
    * 2005 Peterbilt 379
    * 2 weeks down time
    * 7000$ out the door
