Planning on giving my FLD a facelift in the next year or so. Need to do some hood work, and probably switch out a door, so want everything to match when I'm done. Wasn't sure if anyone has gone the wrap route, and what it may cost and lifespan. Also would like some ideas on paint schemes. Saw this one online, would maybe make a few color changes, but liked it all in all. Not sure if some of the paint jobs from some of the 379's I've would look as good on my FLD.

You can get one. The price may shock you lol. I went to the junkyard but those were all in poor shape as well. I was able to pick mine up locally and install in front of my house.

You can get an aftermarket hood from 4 States for around $2k. I would go that route instead of having a bunch of labor time into fiberglass work on your current hood.

As far as paint, on my old truck only the black and white were paint. The stripe to break up the colors was vinyl.

This is where I got mine. Mostly Every one that sells them gets them from here. There are two different choices. I went with the more expensive one. The cheaper one has this disclaimer.
    • Economy hood does not have 90 degree lip edges around wheel opening and bottom of hood, and spot laminated only in stress areas

I actually got the hood, bumper, headlight assemblies and bezels from them as everything on my old hood was trash.

Are the hinges included on the new hood? I put a good set of headlight buckets and LEDs in mine. Someone must have blown a driver side steer tire and trashed everything on that side.
