Just curious, to trim a 100 ft tall palm tree is how much $$$? In my area (S.Ca) it's $45 to $50

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Was this a joke or serious? With that said, I live in Central Texas, where palms are a rare breed.

With that said, I wouldn't even strap on my saddle for $50.00 bucks. ;)

I run a 3 man crew and charge $2100. to $2500. per day.

Update: Pam sent me a denial letter. With felonies more than 10 years old, granted one of my employees sons just got home from prison, got hooked back on drugs, and was accepted by Pam. Big corporate never seems to amaze me, our big corporate world is so screwed up.

Did you apply to the other companies posted on here?

Texas WIOA Program will probably accept you for free cdl school. Check on that.
If you acquire your cdl through this program, Western Express probably hire you.

Chinatown, honestly I haven't applied for anymore yet. Shortly after this post, I had about 5 back to back tree jobs line up. So I've been busy. Now I'm stuck back inside with the weather and still looking into it. So in other words, your telling me I shouldn't give up?

    *********DON'T GIVE UP********

Back when I was first looking for CDL-A work (late in 2018), I had everything going for me -- except for a less-than-perfect work history.

I still got shot down 4 - 5 times before I landed a job -- and this was back when freight volumes were MUCH MORE appealing than they are now.

Because the freight world is in a slump right now -- carriers are thus more finicky about who they hire, where they hire -- and why.

In other words -- it's probably not you. IT'S THE MARKET RIGHT NOW.

To succeed in the current freight world -- you will need to be rather patient -- and also.....persistent.

This is especially true for drivers who have less than a year's worth of experience -- who are now looking for CDL jobs.

You shouldn't give up unless you want to trim trees the rest of your life.
