Nope wasn't aware, i have the device in my truck but i don't use it, some of our guys do but i still enjoy the flexibility of loose.

I use the device for GPS and some communications.

I was pretty agressive with my log back then, but i don't do milleage anymore, my days are PD no logs problems here.

mega carriers suck! As OO I make about 1.82 a mile gross from which 21% goes to the company covering trailer and insurance and some money they make!

As a driver my last job was at 55c / mile which is about 20 if not more cents per mile big carriers pay!

I understand their business model but after 11 years trucking I do not agree with it!

They use young guys as "carne de tun" that is a romanian expression meaning at war put the young up front to get killed!

prices are low for freight but prices for drivers (and I mean drivers with experience) are higher and higher!

What can I say! the next US economic crisis will be a transportation crisis! And Obama fixed roads not rail roads!..... so....

That is what I say! Come on .... Once in my life I drove 6000 miles but to be honest it was 8 or nine days! Whatever you do legislation makes sense but the way they want us to be robots does not!

70 hours at 60 miles per hour is 4200 miles! SHOW ME THE DRIVER WHO WANTS MORE and I ####ing suck his dick if he proves me he wants more every week!

I mean.... If they want to be safe on the roads because us truck drivers are unsafe why do not make it millage based? One person truck 2000 miles. Registered team 5000...... Then freight prices will come to sense and we would be payed by hour not how many miles!

Did you know that in order to maximize a truck millage you have to have a car following him in order to have a 3-rd driver to take the wheel when the team run out of hours?

Key word is MAXIMIZE. If your travel agent is slacking, there's no point. You have to get your travel agent on the same page.
