Too many miles and not enough revenue

 

Man o man i miss the olden days !!!!!!!!!

 

The funny thing is the ones who claim they make enough to not have to run hard. I'm here to tell you, it wouldn't matter if they paid me $5/mile...I'd still run the truck as many miles as possible in a week. I'm just that way. I make plenty money where I'm at and am happy with my pay. But if I can make more and feel safe, then I'm driving it.if not I pull over and park(usually around midnight, I always get drowsy at midnight).

 

My tired time is about the witching hour. 4:30 to about 6:00am.

 

I learned to sleep just before the sunrise and thru it then i could get up and go some more only an hour nap, but if i drove thru the sunrise i was screwed cause within 20 to 30 mins of the sun being up i could not keep my eyes open....

 

Dear daunting fellow. (aka #######) We need three copys of log books. One for the state, one for the company, & a spare, Figure it out. Tramp

 

Yep, I drive vampire. The truck stop is empty at dawn, get the best service, freshest food, It's a win win.

 

Did you have your broker, insurance agent , and IRS over for dinner to pay out your expenses ?

 

Some if you have no clue how many miles some of us really run in a day....not profitable? My bank account says otherwise.
