I guess you realize the biggest customer of hot shots, the oil patch, in totally dead right now.

Google driver application for truck drivers. You will find a sample you can use.
You need to sign up to Clearinghouse to pull out a full query.

You need to sign up for random drug/alcohol testing with the third party.

You need to pull out your driving record.Facilities are closed at the moment. You will have a hard time to file registration.

Freight rates have been cut in half. Now , it’s the worst time ever to get into it. I started two months ago. I never expected for the market to crash. The ratio depending where you are could be 1:10 for the same load. Too many trucks are parked and not moving.
We need to take loans to survive this. Insurance for new operators can kill you in today’s market. Get a quote before you commit to it.

Thanks for all the input everyone. Unfortunately I do know the oilfield gone to ####, I just got laid off from the oilfield. These times are really terrible, that fully I'm covered on my bills through October. I'm hoping this nonsense is over soon and the economy reopens. Until then I'm just gonna worry about getting all my numbers registered and be ready to get rolling.

before your Mc goes active your going to need insurance, meaning your going to need a truck, meaning you need to register it. With things closed not sure if that’s available for you to do online in your state but it’s a long process. I’d wait it out before going into as things stand right now the industry is dying and we are currently in the process of picking out a burial plot,

There's 22 million people that have lost their job in the last month. Now is NOT the time to start a business, especially in this industry. Do the things you can do now, paper work wise, and wait till everything opens for the rest and then still wait it out a bit and let the country try get back so some semblance of normalcy and revisit the business idea then.

Just go join the ooida and have them tell you what you need to do.

As others say, not the time to start a business, it is going to be bad for a while before it is better.

And before you start, either line up your work/make contacts to get work and get your house in order so you can deliver.

    theSoz Thanks this.
