As I read the June "News You Can use", one topic was the paperwork procedures for scanning bills to G.B. We all know it well, but I noticed that there was nothing about writing the load#, driver#, power# or trailer# directly on the BOL. Back in 2013, when I went thru orientation, this was what we were told to do. And I have faithfully done so. So dose this still apply, or am I now wasting ink?

    Thanks, Anthony

I'm assuming it still applies along with arrival and departure times even though no-one at IP seems to do any of that. Never understood why I have to write the trailer number when it's on the bills to begin with but it's not something I'd lose any sleep over.

Because the idiots in the office can't figure that out... they screamed at me for a lumper receipt even though the lumper receipt was attached to the bill of lading... Derek's Goose was I didn't write lumper on it even though had the lumber company on it the shipper receiver on it the address of where it was in the dollar amount but they're just flat-out either stupid or highly lazy and Green Bay and I'm just glad I'm gone from that nonsense

You've been wasting ink for 3 years.

The only thing you need to write is in and out times for pu and delivery.

On lumper receipts you should have the load number.

I've never wrote down an in and out time and have yet to hear a word about it.

I went to orientation in 2013 and was never told that. Just a POD sticker and that's it.

    ####, I feel bad.

Not only don't I put anything written on the bills nor do I put the sticker.

    Guess I'm a bad driver

I just make sure my signature and the sticker are on the bills. The only time I had an issue about one of my bills was when I actually put everything they wanted me to put on it.

Neither have I, but they'd like it to be there. I figure the QC times are good enough.
