there are 1000s of unregistered readers who read these posts guys. truckers, students and their loved ones who come here for INFORMATION. i closed this thread for their sake and i will now also state that if you are reading this thread it pretty much ended around page 2. unfortunately the local seniors are in favor of peeing on everyone else, marking their terrority and obscuring information. if anyone would like to PM and further the original thread in provate please do so.

and PS i wont reply to any of those rude and threatening messages i just received from memebers.

I think you love playing a victim. Nobody here has 'threatened' you. I think you feel threatened any time anybody questions you or your actions. Once again, you came here and asked a question. People answered you. You began hurling insults and then got more upset as some of those people began firing back. I once again agree with Tony. I am out of this one. I never should have entered in the first place since it has become painfully obvious you never wanted any real interaction to begin with. As for your claim of people here not knowing anything about contracts, that is beyond being an ignorant statement. Every OO deals with contracts on a regular basis.

Anyway, good luck and I wish you the best of luck....errr.... I mean 'swim'..

I don't think it is about honor or honesty. You accept terms and enter into a contract. It is just business. I broke my school contract knowing I would incur a penalty, and for me the penalty was worth it. Taking care of the consequences and paying the penalty as agreed is where the honor and honesty comes in.

For me it was about working for a carrier close to home where I would make more money and not be out for several weeks at a time.

that is exactly what SWIM was thinking. if he doesnt break the contract, pays them back, he SHOULD, in theory, be just fine. however, he was worried that they care less about the money and more about the driver working for them and not the competitiom so they may mess with his driving file. that was the original topic thanks for your reply

Right, DAC. Sorry. Mine wasn't messed with, because I was never an employee. He should be fine as long as he hasn't officially started working for them. I doubt he'd have a problem with DAC unless he started and abandoned the truck to quit or something. That's when they really ding ya.
