I picked up $ 14 million at the Boston Fed with an armored truck once, never saw a black van ,black helicopter or anything !
Wait -hold the phone. Yuppie test: 1) do you or have you owned a BMW or Prius ?
Do either make 1 Ton or larger pick-ups...NO?...Won't own either.... If it doesn't have a clutch pedal and a shifter....I forgot how to ride it.... Guilty as charged....Oh wait...You guys still consider Cali a "Foreign country"?.... Only if they eat Taco Bell......Oh wait...You were talking about the trucks....Sorry it's late...Thought you meant "driver"...... We have tile floors....You know how many...Oh never mind....I don't need some envirowacko knocking on the door again.... I promise not to wake up the driver asleep at the fuel island....I have a better way...Slide steel plates under tires and slide him out to the interstate....Betcha he'll never take his "10" at the pumps ever again...
I have a thought which is really uncommon for someone who isn't really all that bright but....... he video'd that inside loves correct? And he has 2 workers on film face visible correct? doesnt one need permission to video tape someone and post it to the internet? this may be a stretch, but on cops, or what would you do....you know the shows they all have to sign permission slips to have it aired..... thinking if employees push the issue, might be able to go after the poster for posting video without consent? Any thoughts? Or clue on this?
You could be right, but I suspect it just isn't that big of a deal to the woman or to Loves. The guy was disrespectful and a bit of a bully, but it appears to have stopped there.
Except that by everyone trying to be politically correct, someone in upper management sees it and feels maybe both employee's handled the situation wrong could end up without a job. And if said video was cause of that then I would have to say that there definetly would be a suit of some sort headed to that drivers way
This is funny, the idiot can't even shoot video. There is no law, there is no right to sleep. I've gone through this with a driver once before and the lawyer said "too bad, learn how to read signs". Even on private property with public access, there is no law that protects him. Maybe towing if it is left there too long like in this state - public access takes the towing stuff into a different area of law. The great videographer's point about Love's liability is limited to his actions parking in a no parking zone which I think takes their liability away.
In defense of this driver it's possible he was on E-logs and moving the truck would cause him to go into violation. Also what if it was 2 AM and there were no other available spots in the truck stop so if she made him move he'd have to drive down the road illegally. I can see his side of this too.
Given this guy's whole attitude and demeanor IMO there was absolutely no planning on his part. His entitlement to park wherever and whenever he wants is indicative to the mindset of so many drivers out here these days. It's all about "ME". What "I" want, and what "I" need, and to hell with everyone else. Garbage.
Not anyone else's problem....No parking spots...Drive down the road until you find one... On Elogs?.... Again....Not everyone else's problem.... Hate Elogs.... Work for someone who still uses paper.... And O/O's on Elogs.....What the matter with you.....You became an O/O why?......
You mean drive in violation or park in an "iffy" spot at a full truck stop. Talk about being stuck between a rock and hard place.
