Yep, and for once it was NOT the fault of the trucker. Welder let his torch get into some wood. Hmmm, wonder if he used to drive for SWIFT?????:biggrin_2554:

Dispatch called me pissed off that I was taking my time getting to Modesto. I could have busted my ### to get there, done a reset, and been ready to roll tomorrow instead of having very few hours left. Yeah coulda woulda shoulda.

Lol. My DM called one time and asked why I was running the load the way I was.
I asked her if she was my preschool teacher ? She said " no, why" i then asked , have I ever been late , " no "
ok then get off my back and don't treat me like a child .

We get along great now. Lol

I have this bad habit of speaking what's on my mind ,

That's what I'm saying. Unless I'm late, why ##### about how I'm running it?

I start gaining back hours on Thursday. I don't even need a full reset before I can run again. I try to run without an on road reset whenever possible.

My dispatcher called me and asked if I would have enough hours to at least pick up in Modesto tomorrow. I will. it's going back to El Paso. was to be in town on Thursday but it will just have to be pushed back till friday.

I only have taken a reset on the road due to shippers , ####### around and messing #### up.
other wise I just make sure I run a certain amount of hrs a day so I can carry hrs after 8 .
Problem is these companies hire so many people that don't understand how to plan hrs a few days a head of time.
I mean duhhhh. Who the hell wants to sit at a truck stop for 34 hrs ? Not this guy !!!!!!!! Lol

I'm just running how I used to run it before the reset provision.

There's been plenty of times I don't do an on road reset because I know that if I have a lot of hours on my clock they're going to want me to run as soon as I get back to El Paso.
