Made a parking spot at a rest area in MT. Does anybody here believe it's not too difficult to find a parking spot at that FJ in Spokane, WA on a Sunday at 19:00? With sooo many warehouses around, and only one medium size truck stop in the area, I don't think soo... :biggrin_25512:

If the FJ in ID was almost full at 17:50 today... I wonder how the one in Spokane, WA would be... Here I am...

Can't speak to the west coast truck stops, as we don't go much beyond I-35. The ones out east fill up early on Sunday afternoon as weekend hauls roll in to stage for Monday morning deliveries.

Looks like my "vacation" at home is coming to an end. I just heard from my shop and it sounds like my truck will be ready to go by this afternoon. Coincidentally, the chest cold I came down with on the way in last week is also about cleared up.

I was able to take advantage yesterday for a little motorcycle therapy out to a local car & bike show. A little fussing around with a battery replacement, then a late arrival at the show to visit with some old friends. The guy with the only other bike, an '06 Kawasaki cruiser, thanked me for coming in too late on my '49 panhead so he could get his first ever trophy. I just laughed and told him if I don't wait over two years to take it out again, I might just be on time for the next show LOL.

Nice ride... but not for this truck here... :biggrin_25513: it doesn't "like" those steep hills in CA... those exacerbate its emissions problem... Last time it happened right at that nice CA-58...

I guess most truck stops fill up on Sunday evening... I like to Google satellite view the truck stop... it gives me a better idea of the "good" and "bad" parking spots... I don't like the tight ones... and the ones in big cities nearby lots of warehouses... :biggrin_2552:
Hey man, happy trails to you... :Road::yes2557:
