Got my 4 stops off around the coastal Carolina area then deadheaded back to Suffolk VA to pickup the next one headed to Hebron Ky. Now parked in Disputanta. Got 460 miles in around those 4 stops and not 1 mile on any interstate. I'm beat.

Hey man... That is a 5 year old school in a small town called Alice... The school didn't have a warehouse... I was delivering some construction material to the business that was doing some construction in the school... They never received such a big load like that... and rented a forward reach forklift to unload the trailer... :biggrin_2554: something like this...

but the hooks were too wide apart from each other... and most of the pallets were too narrow... So, they had to return that one and rent a smaller one... and they had to remove all the boxes from the pallets and load them on bigger pallets to move them to inside the school cause the only pallet jack they had was also too wide... Folks were very nice and worked very hard... took them about 3 hrs to unload 26 pallets...

After empty, I rushed to Laredo and pick up another load... this one is going somewhere in NC... Now I am parked at a nice and big rest area in TX. :biggrin_25519:

Well they trusted me with another load. Got out of the shop yesterday but wanted to finish up my restart. Picking up in Greeley and going to Laporte. Still don't think they fixed the truck right, because they said they didn't see any over heating problem, but when I got in the truck temp was near 220, but it did just finish a regen. So Hopefully whatever they did fix will make the temperature stay in normal operating rang or I'll be back in the shop once again. Just one week without a check engine light is all I ask. 2 weeks would be super. Well mo later from the Dinomite Times. We bizack quiet~~~~~~

Well that would explain why I haven't been there LOL. We have reefers and our deliveries are normally tons of frozen chicken products to make lunches for the bad little school kids of Texas. Each of the districts usually has some sort of distribution center. The smaller ones usually share the grounds with a school, or at least their maintenance shop or something. So not usually found in normal industrial neighborhoods. The really small ones like Temple can be interesting to get in and out of LOL.

My favorite is Houston. The supervisor for the lumpers is a cool guy and has an old hotrod Chevy pickup. I get in there every few months and catch up on the latest, having a common interest. May be few and far between, but there's some cool dock hands out there that make for a better stop even on a bad day.

Getting ready to do another crap shoot to PA. If this ride goes like the last two, I'll be camping in Saxonburg around sunset tomorrow night after a day of mountain climbing.

Passed by San Antonio yesterday on my way to NC.... Now parked at another rest area... in MS... this one has very small parking spots though... :biggrin_2552: I don't like that... worry that someone may hit my fender of the rear of the trailer.... But wanted to drive all my hrs... So, I got here with 2 mins left from my 70... Will leave around 3:30 am... so I will not be going thru Atlanta at 6 am...
