Parked Here for the Night

Parked at the J in Big Springs, NE finally got out of Hyrum. Going to knock out an 8 hr split break and keep trucking. Roads were pretty decent in Wyoming till you got to East of Laramie, but just one lane mush stuff, but no trucks in ditches so all good. Then Nebraska was pretty dry. They did a heck of a job on those roads. Was able to put the hammer down. A few spots got a little ugly but then it was back on cruise control. Hope I can say the same for tonight. Should be ok, but we will find out in a few. We bought to hit up the J and then knock out some Z's we back quiet in 2014.

 

Home for the weekend and guess what? It's snowing again, I'm really getting tired of this crap. Already had 33" so far just in January

Move to Florida or Southern California! The only thing Chicago has going is Lake Michigan in the summer.

I'm at the love's in Burbank, OH. Woke up to an inch of snow on the ground. Planning on scooting over to the Sapp Brothers at exit 120 on 80 in Clearfield, PA because I deliver at Wally world in Woodland, PA in the morning. Thank god I'm in Ohio and not Georgia where an inch of snow would shut down the world.

 

No, ain't leaving here any time soon, the winters kinda suck but the summer on lake Michigan fishing makes up for it.
Plus I have a excellent job 10 min. Away from the house

I really don't know where I am. At a travel plaza just east of Toledo for and 8 hr break. Then knock out this last 400 miles to Syracuse to deliver 1 pallet then to Conklin, NY to drop off 2 pallets, and If I have the hours will try to get to Hunts point. Don't have to be there till Tuesday morning. I just want to get there as early as possible to start a restart. Now that I think about I have till 7pm mountain time. Now that's making me rethink my restart. I hate this 2 periods between 1 and 5 mess. Will be East bound and down in a few hours. This storm has been my full back and I'm following right behind it. Well better check the weather so I don't get any surprises. Be cool on yall's stool we back quiet.

 

Watching the pregame show in the driver's lounge at the Sapp Brothers in Clearfield, PA
