Parked Here for the Night

On my way to Siemens in Southaven, Mississippi for a delivery on Tuesday morning. One of our drop and hook accounts.

 

Truck is still parked in the driveway... Got the truck posted, but the brokers don't seem to work on weekends! So heading out Monday, just not sure where

 

Busch Rice Mill in Jonesboro waiting on a load of mill feed for Dalhart Texas. Got here at noon and was told I had to be here by 1 but still no action. At least I put detention in it. Took a load of wheat out of a farmers bins in Independence county today to the barge in West Memphis I knew I was heavy but no scale out there at farm bins. When hauling out of the bin or out of the field there is a 85000 thousand clause. I did here if you were over they charge back to 80, eh you can here anything right. My gross was 94380 so till I learn this wagon and the products I guess air bag application pressure gauges are in order.

 

Pilot in Syracuse, NY...

 

Travel plaza in Lamar, CO for a 2 hr break. Then head on over to Sysco in Denver. I'm back out~~~~~

Ahhhhh. The joys of trucking. Showed up for delivery, place is deserted save for one car in the driveway....after verifying I had the right place I walked in and was told by this very sweet older lady that the plant was closed today due to the holiday....I asked if they were hiring...cause I want holiday on the Monday after a long weekend too!! 'MERICA!!..lol

So anyway right back at the truckstop waiting on one of 2 options

Option 1 (preferred): t call this load in Memphis and turn around and pick up the preloaded trailer waiting on me here in Jackson and take it to Atlanta.

Option 2: sit here for the next 20+ hours, use my points to buy wifi and watch Netflix for 12 of those hours.

Waiting for the people who make those decisions to actually make a decision.
