Parked Here for the Night

Word of advice. Do not show up at GP in Crossett, Ar between 1730-1830 which is shift change. The ladies in the window will ignore you as they wrap up there day and the shift coming in will ignore you as they BS in the kitchen before they decide to start working. When I got there it was me and one other guy. By the time they got to me I counted 15 trucks stacked up waiting to get to the sweep out dock plus the other 3 trucks who filled in the remaining spaces while I waited.

All ol that to find out they are running way behind and my load will be ready later tonight. I'm not sweating it I bobtailed out and went to Walmart. I really wanted a shower tonight but I'll just stop along my route tomorrow. Load delivers at 0300 Thurs in KC.

 

Finally back out and I pull a day like this geeez
got off of 70 in MD with 1 minute left. Ohhh boy its gonna be a long month starting out like this..

 

After my reset at co. warehouse in TN, I think this is the 4th night or so that I sleep at a warehouse docking area... and I like it.. It's so much quieter than a truck stop... At 5 am today, someone knocked on my door to say that my load was ready at dock with no number... So, I quickly composed myself, and moved from dock # 3 to the other one. At 6 am I was loaded... Faced some traffic nearby Chicago... but not too bad... Then, did drop and hook at my co. warehouse in north of IN and rushed to next shipper about 3 hrs away in IN... got there right on time... they were fixing to leave... Was loaded in 30 mins and rushed back to co. warehouse in IN... Another drop and hook and here I am...



Will leave at 5 am central time for my next pick up and then head to OK... Having my supper, doing paperwork and gotta rush to bed soon...

 

Sittin at a feed mill in Dalhart Tx. I'm not sure how long pulling this covered wagon will last. I guess I have been a bull hauler too long, change is hard to make

 

Sitting in southland gaming truck parking in west Memphis, anybody want to play bj or slots with me got 25 to blow i need some luck

 

One should never say West Memphis, bj and blow in the same sentence.

 

At the Westar Travel Plaza in Cowpens, SC. 5 till midnight and still plenty of parking. Stopped in Fair Play to get some rope to secure that ####### dead tire I have to drag back to El Paso and it was a #### zoo vs this place.
