Parked at this Pilot on I-70 IL...
Will sleep right after I finish my meal here... and will start driving at 00:30 tonight... Want to arrive at co. terminal in OK before noon so they have time to do the truck PM before they leave at 15:00... They don't work on weekends....

Truckstop on I20 in Tyler, Tx. The one with the Texas Best BBQ/Sonic. Got myself a 2 meat plate and oh boy was it worth every penny. Gonna sleep good. 2am wake up call to get to Houston and these 5 stops off

Waiting at Ceva Dallas to get someone to fix my drive tire. Had a nail in it. Been on hold for over an hour.

Parked at the house for the night. Gotta hit the Memphis Port at 6 to drop a load of clean rice on a barge. Then load at West Memphis port for Nixa Mo. Them dang outbound scales on 55 just past exit ten have been open all week. On the plus side I miss the construction dodging them
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Was supposed to roll out at 8 but they found an issue with my truck that is pushing me back two hours.

Told it would be ready at noon so on my way to the terminal.

What a difference... in traffic... driving at night is soooo smooth...
So, I made to co. terminal at 9:30 am, dropped loaded trailer and mechanic rushed to do a BIG PM... TriPac PM, transmission and gear box PM + regular PM and replaced one tire that had one small bald spot... All done before 15:00...
But dsp could not find a good load by that late... She found one load picking up nearby on Sat morning and going somewhere in FL... it was good miles 1130... but delivery would be at 20:00...
Don't know who or where receiver was... I didn't like the idea of having to find a place to park after empty, that late... And then, would have only 5 hrs left from my 70 on Sunday evening and would gain 7:30 hrs only on Tuesday...
So, I said no for that load... Will have to wait till Monday, when dsp comes back... for another load...
And now I am here...
Under a tree at a Pilot in Oklahoma City... left trailer at co. terminal... They close for the weekend and there's nothing but one portable toilet on the yard...
If any of you passes by, stop by and I will buy you a drink of your choice...

Made my deliveries, now with my girls for the weekend. Gonna go see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tomorrow. They are excited to see it...not as excited as I am...haha. Planning to go back out on Tuesday with a load going to Atlanta. We shall see come Monday. Put truck in the shop for a PM and having some issues with the clutch. Let's hope its minor and I'll be ready to roll out Tuesday.

So... I am parked here, where I was yesterday, which is a very convenient place, where I am not taking any 18 wheeler space and far away from noisy trucks... have a nice view, next to one entrance to the Pilot, and there's a faucet nearby where I was planning on refreshing myself since I have only one shower till Monday at least... But a man with a couple of back pack comes and seats on the grass right next to my window...
I don't like that...
he saw me walking in the building earlier.... and now he smiled and waived at me as I walked out of the truck... I am a lady and I don't like being watched by strangers at truck stops... I had all my windows open for fresh air as I don't like using air conditioner, but closed the ones on his side and the curtains too...
And I was considering moving to FJ across from highway... But that one has no nice place for a bobtail... I hate losing this great spot where I am right now... Will wait a little more and hope this man goes away... Maybe I go for a walk before the rain comes...

I empathize with you. I hate it when actions of others cause me to close my windows or move to another spot.Rocks Thanks this.
