Parked Here for the Night

Hey Tangerine... why is your nickname Tangerine?? just curious... Oh... I think this question belongs to that other thread... "How did you pick your name..." or something like this...

 

I had a "perfect" plan for this entire trip... but forgot one little detail when I called shipper last evening... forgot to ask them if I arrived at 6 am today, the load would be ready...
So... I started my clock too early today... Had to wait for 4 hrs for them to pull out the load... So... instead of parking at a FJ in IN this evening, I am parked at a FJ on I-70 east of Columbus, OH... And instead of delivering on Tuesday as I wish, will deliver on Wed...

And.... I though today was Thursday... It was only this evening that I looked on my cell and it said today is Friday... Darn! the week went fast... I wish had called the receiver today.... totally forgot... Was way too concentrated on the driving I guess...

Oh well... gotta go now...

 

Sorry to "hear" that TruckDuo... it's awful to be sick on the road... hope is nothing serious and wish you get better soon... A few good night sleeps in your place and nice rest and good food will take care of that...

 

I belong to another forum ( yes its true ) for cars . I have a 96 mustang gt that is a limited production color witch is tangerine orange and it just kinda stuck. Lol

I got to get out of this place , and I got 2 hrs then I am offfffffffffff.....


You know , I poke fun and all sometimes but today I pull in here and back in next to a C.R. england truck ( it was close and I had to well yea real bad ) lol. Anyway we both got out at the same time and he says to me, fewww I was a bit worried there for a minute. Bahahahaha are you Fing kiding me ?

So I said , yeah talk about the pot calling the kettle black , he was missing almost a whole side skirt , the bat wing was busted , big dent in the door , and I am pretty sure the truck was blue at one time.. I am like really ???

 

I found the one place that hauls pigs , the only want a year of otr experience . I am gonna wait it out and try to atleast get s ok me livestock experience with them and who knows maybe even stay there for a while.

You know if I had my own truck it would probably be a bit easier then looking for a company driver spot , but hell I gotta get my boots dirty somewhere right ?
