Got a couple questions about running Chicago- Woburn, Ma.( just n.w of Boston)
plan on running the tolls 90e all the way.
Does EZpass work for N.Y and Ma.
Whats the parking like in N.Y and Ma. on I9O?
Never been that way so any advice would be great. -
I know Ezpass works in NY , and for parking well its okay. There are some service plazas in NY , but they fill up pretty quick after say 7 or so. Well at least the last time I was up that way anyhow
Oh and in Indiana and Ohio there are plenty of plazas there. Ohio turnpike plazas even have showers ( free too )slim shady Thanks this. -
Ez pass will work the whole way. I figure if you are leaving from Chicago running a full day you should get close to Syracuse. About 40 miles before Syracuse there is a huge Petro in Waterloo. Won't have any trouble with parking no matter what time. Once you get east of Syracuse I can't help you much because I haven't been east of Syracuse in a couple yearsslim shady Thanks this.

Ok without questioning your routing(thats on you)--parking real limited on mass pike portion of 90--small service plazas--
Also depends on how far you plan to go--last exit in Ny small ts--also first exit in mass--and depending on where you are going in Woburn there is more parking in the are than you would think
One other piece of advise--be very careful about idling on pikes in NY&MA troopers love to just leave the ticket on truck while your sleepingslim shady Thanks this. -
Thanks.
What wrong with 90 all the way? Is 80 a better way?The miles are about the same either way.I'm leaving Mon. am and dont deliver til Wed. 8 am, so I have plenty of time. Im figuring to get somewhere between Rochester and Syracuse Mon.
and be in Woburn Tues. Idling? I'LL take my chances,I'm not going to sweat -
Nothing wrong w/90 all the way--Im just a no Tolls kinda guy--and it is extremely expensive to run that way...So I NEVER do it--especially when you can run that entire trip for free-but that is just a personal thing--your routing is fine
and I believe someone mentioned earlier the Petro at Waterloo NY--between Rochester and Syracuse--always somewhere to park thereslim shady and FatDaddy Thank this. -
How about traffic in the Boston area at 8am? My directions are I90-I95N- Ex36.
Any parking close to ex36?
