Well I'm in a holding pattern at the moment. Went to pick up my load in Lancaster, Tx and not enough product to fill the load so it looks like I won't be going to HEB after all. Instead I'm gonna dh to Waco in the morning and take a load to Tifton Ga.

Did spend the afternoon over at Cowboys stadium watching my 49ers beat up the Cowboys.

    Rocks Thanks this.

Then get to Larodeo just in time to find out there's always a 3-4 hr wait for a shower@all 3 truckstops...and the load they're sposed Ta git is 357th in line waitin Ta clear on the otherside....the excitement will wane..but who knows.....Maybe they'll like it....

Not much in the way of Mexican places you will get a truck into that I've seen, if you can ditch your trailer at a yard or customer life will be much easier..

Laredo is a rat race and they don't drive well down there.....keep everything locked !

OK, you know you've got a problem, so you are now in "condition red." (In other words, your rectum has slammed shut, your heart is in your mouth and you have to be careful not to bite down, or you will cut it in two.)

Yes you do slowly allow your rig to lose speed. You have both hands on the wheel and are ready to compensate for when it starts pulling to the side. Again the key word is SLOWLY lose speed. If you are still upright by this time, you are probably going to remain that way. Just let it slow down and then get off the road. Sure it is a bit harder to control, but it can be done.

FWIW, on a passenger vehicle, I'd rather blow a front tire than a rear. When a rear tire goes, it can get "squirrely in a hurry." I've had a front tire failure in a radio car, while running code to a crash. Not nearly as hard to control as a rear tire going. (Not that it is something I'd like to do again, though.)

    Rocks Thanks this.
