Parked Here for the Night

I ran US 12 today between Chehalis, WA and Yakima while grossing 79,360 lbs. That was fun.

But the views were ####### spectacular.

















Currently parked at the Stinker Station in Caldwell, ID.

 

Got into a preventable tonight and chewed up a rim pretty badly.

Limped over the GWB and I'm stuck in Fort Lee until the desk jockeys come in, hear about what happened and decide if they want me fried, filleted, buttered or broiled.

(got cut off making a turn swing 50' from the GWB and curbed & blew out a trailer wheel.)

 

Hey Pete...since you're havin so much fun runin down that way...I can show how to shave a few miles....AND you get to stay on 2lanes for an xtra500 miles or so......ya gotta go over couple lil bumps in Colorado....but you'll shave another 100 time ya get to Flag......

 

If it makes you feel better, climbing that hill on east bound us12 got the engine so hot I've now got a small coolant leak on the coolant reservoir tank. Boss says just keep an eye on it and get home and they'll throw a new tank on when I get back.

 

When I worked for Marten the food truck that came to the yard in Laredo had some of the best and biggest burritos I've ever tasted....cheap too. I like to think I'm pretty good at rating Mexican food. One thing about living in the Houston area I discovered...the more run down and scary looking area the place is, the better the food

It was a drop and hook and i was lied to said there was only 5200 gallons, more like 6500.
