Parked Here for the Night

I'll service failure their ###. I even got to the drop a half hour early. Called them and they said maybe an hour ahead at the most I could come.

 

Eating dinner at Denny's at the J in Texarkana....against my better judgement....but I found a pull through. Gonna finish up here than finish the 300 miles to Houston. Glad we got a yard there so I don't have to worry about parking, although I do have some secret spots I could go if I needed to.

I am drooling over about every other truck I see up here

Its not looking good so far back out . Kinda slow and I am not liking it
I think they are bringing way to many people onto this farmland acct in our company not to mention all the trucks I see that say " swift " on them pulling central trailers

The question is : can I last two more months ?
signs are pointing to NO !!!

 

Not parked but rolling for home stopped for a sandwich and just a splash of fuel to get me there. 200 miles to go

Delivered the load at this location this morning...



There were lots of volunteers and they unloaded the whole trailer by hand cause there was no equipment... It didn't take long though...
2 TV news channels were there and took pictures.... I would like to post links to the articles and pictures but don't think I should be "advertising" about my co. and these events here...
Now parked at a service plaza in FL... which is IMO, much better than noisy and congested Pilot and TA, etc on I-75...
However, whoever designed this truck parking area is a total idiot with regard to trucks... and wasted a lot of good space, making it very difficult for trucks to park... And these "stalls" or poles or whatever it's called are useless and a hassle for trucks to maneuver... Some are damaged...



I think I got the best spot... and parking lot is still kinda empty....
After pick up tomorrow will head to TX...

It was good for a month or two , but when I ask where the miles are ? They say whats it matter you get paid guaranteed millage. Thats the part that has me irritated to say the least .

We shall see . Gonna make some calls , see if something falls my way quick , but I got this feeling I am gonna be waiting two more months before it will break for me....
