I'm trying to remember if that was one of the authorized fuel stops back then.

More than a few times I fueled up, parked and waited for the scale to close thanks to a heavy Laredo to Salt Lake run.

Yeah, I was afraid that the casino/truck stop would put them out of business. That is too bad. I now I was NOT impressed with the food in the restaurant at that casino. But I haven't been there since probably 2004 or there abouts. . .

I find it interesting that there is 30 minute commercial truck parking on each end of the scale. :p

Got our black cherry 379 mechanically sound today. Just waiting on the straight pipes and the stainless front fenders to come in then it will be ready for the road. Drives like a dream but it's all new suspension bushings front and rear new king pins and all new gas shocks. I gave her my normal Cooters diesel service CAT upgrade on a already strong engine she ought to make a fine rig.
Its about that time to unpark from here for the night and head for Hereford bout dark.

Well…. I think that wisdom only is not enough for one to become rich and stay rich (money wise)… Besides, I don’t know what your circumstances and priorities in life are…

Funny how you can sit there all night and literally throw your life away going broke, losing your house, selling your first born, etc...but win a little bit and they want you to leave.
