looked like parking on Google Sat must be someone elses lot
I thought I saw an ad for shuttle last time I was there
I guess I am a wealth of useless knowledge

GOOD LUCK with your deal...

Well... a new truck IMO is no guarantee it will be OK....
My co. recently bought 8 new trucks... 4 of which already went to shop with problems...
And the new trucks nowadays, with all the emissions crap and computer crap, have more problems (generally) than the older ones... When they asked drivers who wanted a new truck (not saying drivers would be granted what they wanted though)... my response was, I will keep "mine"... cause I already know it... besides, I don't want to be moving my home to another truck for now...

True. I am used to this heap of crap lol.
Rocks Thanks this. -
Went to Wamart this morning and filled up my cooler with vegetables, legumes and fruits... and yogurt... etc, etc... And then back to truck stop.... And parked at a better spot... Will be easy to leave tomorrow morning...

Another driver parked next to me and we had a WONDERFUL 2 hr conversation...
He gave me a poem he wrote in the hospital right after coming out of a 6 month coma...
A very nice gentleman... former parachutist during Vietnam war.... driving trucks since 1975... gave me his phone number...

Do I hate an auto midroof?
AHHHH.... after reading Cranky's post again, I realized that is an automatic truck with low roof...
Yes... I don't think I would like that at all...

I thought the same but they said no parking so who knows. And you weren't the only one who told me about the shuttle. Couple drivers on the CB thought the same. Had a winning night on the poker tables so it's all good

You have been lucky huh?
I know someone, he used to play every opportunity he had... If he were winning, that would encourage him to keep playing some more... until he would lose everything he won and a little more... Then, he would go back to try to recuperated what he lost...
And generally he would lose more than win...

Delivered today and rushed to next shipper but pick up is scheduled for tomorrow and shipper can't ship early...
Good thing they are a few blocks away from my co. warehouse in TN....
So, I went to Pilot nearby, got a very good spot... next to the exit, near the restroom and all...
Took a shower, bought my ice, Transflo paperwork, had french fries at McDonald's, etc... But then, decided to come to quiet and safe co. warehouse nearby...
Although there's no restroom here.... and I may need to use one early in the morning, I feel more comfortable here and don't have to worry about someone accidentally scratching my paint...
After p/up tomorrow will head to OK and stop at co. terminal for tire repair and PM before delivery... -
Yeah that's pretty common. I am a semi regular poker player. I wanted to play professionally when I was young and dumb but that probably wouldn't have turned out well. I definitely have had luck on my side but I like to think a little skill goes a long way too.Rocks Thanks this.
