Parked Here for the Night

The Teletracs GPS unit in my loaner truck doesn't work. The ignition feed is disconnected and it's not showing a satellite signal. So it can't find its position and keeps going into sleep mode, lol!

 

All this technology sucks when something goes wrong... I spent some time trying to deal with it... but I think there's a problem with the satellite connection too... I don't know... will not waste more time with it... I am not a professional... and the person who uploaded this to my truck is not either...

 

The idle time on this truck will be high. Company will say It's October. I'll say "Yeah, tell South Texas that!"

It was a long day . Waited for a load then fell asleep and then got woken up . So off I go and then 3 hrs latter BANG !!!! Deer in the headlighs . She ran rigjt into the front wheel on my side . I went back and cop pulled over , so we pulled her off the road and put a bullet in her head because for some reason it didnt want to die rigjt after being hit with a truck.....

Oh well , thats life
... i'm out !!!!!!

 

Dang it knock on wood not hit a deer yet well in a truck 13 years ago with car on a skinny back road went back a got a knife slit her throat as no gun wife would not allow one with kids at home thats fixed though

 

Ha. No way. Besides my delivery was on the north side of town so I could avoid the dumps off 465

 

Now you ain't supposed to be banging that truck up before you turn it in.

 

There wasnt any damage other then a half dead deer.
Now I had to stop and was some blood off the truck , but I seen them crossing the road so I moved over a bit and the one turned around . It basically ran right into the bottom of the left front corner of the bumber and where the wheel are .

The cop that stoped looked to make sure he didnt have to right a report , and then had to shoot the deer becasue I crippled the hell out of it.

It was one of things where I knew I was gonna hit but nothing I could do.
I am sooooooooo glad it wasnt worse , because an accident right before I try to go to another company would not have looked very good. Lol

Yeah this is true . I mean I wasnt gonna run into a ditch to get away but more less just hugged the white line a bit closer ..

That would really suck . A accident a week before my interview with this company. ...
