Parked Here for the Night

With 22 minutes left on the clock. We pulled the Yellow knob at a fuel stop in Green River, Utah. I was going to go another mile down the road to the Pilot so it could rhyme, but this place has quicker access to the highway.

Hmmm You may ask what is he doing in Green River when he was heading to Salt lake. Preplan said Salt lake. Bills said Denver. So we are heading to the big D and I don't mean Dallas. So that did me in for my Bronx load I was going to get. This load doesn't deliver till Sunday at 22:00. Sent a quick message to dispatcher that I would be in the Big D in the morning. <<<<Yeah rhyming is just what I do. Anyway. If they had a load they needed cover to halla back. So they did with a load that picks up Tmrw night going to Omaha that delivers Monday Morning. Guess it's better then sitting in the big D all day and not being able to get a restart. Also still have to make sure its a big 10/4 on dropping this load on the yard. They haven't sent that information yet so will give them a reminder call in the morning.

Also the Omaha load puts me near the Grand Island plant and they have tons of stuff going to Texas so. I could possibly do a drive by the house and If I get a Houston load. Can see the kiddo's. So crossing fingers for a South bound Texas load out of Nebraska, but if the East or West coast call's. I'm answering. Also load will probably be ready when I get there so won't have to wait till Saturday night. . Anyway that's beep beep. That's all folks for now. We back quiet.

 

Back on the road again... CA to GA... Kingman tonight, OKC tomorrow night, then ATL Monday night...

 

Lexington VA, at the Lee Hi. Atlanta tomorrow AM, then up to NC to grab a load back to the icebox, errr Boston. Really enjoying the 60+ degrees and sunshine. It's been an unpleasant winter so far.

 

Parked at the yard in Greeley. Had a little snow on the mountains. One axle trucks had to chain, but it was full go for me. Got to the yard put my truck in the shop for an A service/grease job, and to fix a spot mirror, and It comes out with everything fixed and a drive cam. So that should be interesting. I knew I was going to get one, but didn't think they would do it with the weekend crew. So guess I'll go watch the video and see what all this thing can see. Should be interesting. Will pick up my Omaha load in a few hours and then head east bound. Yall be good now ya hear.

Working and trying to break some bad habits since I knew I was getting this drive cam. So yeah. I'll probably be on here less an less. Until of course I'm canned, and come on here and complain how this drive cam got me fired. If I said I wasn't a little anxious I'd be lying. This is kinda scary. This song is going on in my head. Picked up load and got a couple hours down the road. Snow made it to hard to see the road. So we pulled it over. Didn't trigger an event on the drive cam so I'm a little less nervous. Probably will be able to sleep now. Seems like it suppose to snow all day on 80 in Nebraska. I hope weather.com is wrong, but we will see in the morning.
