Parked Here for the Night

Time FLIES when you are busy... should be in bed at least 2 hrs ago... but had a lot to plan... and then cook... I am at another rest area in MO.... You all have a good night.

 

Delivered in Carol Stream, IL & now 2 days at home.

 

Still at the Fairburn Truckstop. Deliver 4 miles up the road, then off to Cartersville for my reload.

 

Stopped in at the loves at Max Meadows,VA to take my break and a shower only to find ten ahead of me. Decided to pay for a shower down the road at the Lee Hi. My time is worth more than an hour plus wait for a free shower.

 

Sitting in a clinic in Louisville. The random selector got me. Anybody else get nervous doing a drug screen even when you know you're totally clean? I have this fear that somehow my sample gets swapped with a meth head

 

As a long hair from Cali I definitely worry that someone will decide to help me fulfill the stereo type.

 

Going to bed as soon as I finish having my warm meal of the day in the truck here... Passed Hess and Petro down the road and parked at this small Shell in AL...



Only a couple trucks here.... so far... Will leave at 2:30 am central time...

 

Parked at the NB rest area on 81 near Carlisle, PA. Used up my 11 hours getting here from Union Point, GA. Surprisingly hit no backups. All the spots were full (of course) but I grabbed the first spot on the paved shoulder just past the dumpster. Doesn't say no parking!

Delivery in Elmira, NY tomorrow between 7am and 2pm. Then a scheduled pickup at Camden Wire in Camden, NY heading back to El Paso. Told dispatch I'd be running low on hours so they'll decide whether to relay it or let me sit on it.

 

I'm at the Loves in Sparta, KY. Between the construction, rain and random drug screen I didn't get as far as I wanted which would have been the other side of Cincinnati. Just makes for a longer day tomorrow but it's all good only got 12K in the box and it's a D&H at the receiver. Headed to Lowes in Minersville PA.

 

Some little fuel station off 80 heard of a wreck before the TA in NJ so pulled in to first place I could do my eight and finish In th AM in Jersey City
