Yeah the road test went good. I had some minor issues down shifting , but I overcame that pretty quick.
my road was like an hour long . I took an empty trailer and dropped at one of their customers and then bobtailed back to the yard.

    Rocks Thanks this.

Well let's see if this plan goes off without a hitch. Booked Lynchburg, VA to Dayville CT. Then DH to Edison, NJ to Salem VA. Then back to Lynchburg going to Indy, then a DH to Hebron Ky to get me to Sealy Tx with plenty of time to get there and take my youngest trick or treating. This being trucking and all I don't see how anything can go wrong. :biggrin_25526:

Hey... does anybody here know for sure if it's ok to park at Walmart on Saginaw Blvd. in Saginaw, TX? I am afraid to call and ask... they may say, NO...

So... ran and ran and ran today... no time for nothing but fuel and quick 30 min mandatory break... Now parked at an almost empty Valero in NM close to TX... There's a another truck stop across from highway here but this one closes at night... so I figured it would be more empty... :biggrin_25519: And it is very quiet here right now... :yes2557: Will be able to get to receiver tomorrow in time for them to unload me... and then gotta park somewhere overnight.. Walmart nearby would be GREAT cause I really need to do my groceries... Then, Sunday I can go to that stinky Pilot on I-35 W and take a shower and finish my reset...

Yes.... I see a couple... and it seems there's a small truck and RV parking area too... In any case, receiver told me that they have plenty of room for me if I need to stay there for hrs after they unload me... And I may... Don't want to lose that offer and then get to Walmart in the afternoon just to find it very congested and signs of no overnight truck parking.... I may go to WM Sunday early morning... Well... shall see.... I will pass by it on my way to receiver tomorrow and take a look... :biggrin_25519:

Don't be afraid to call. If they say no, just move on. It would be no different than if we here would have told you you can't park there. I called one in Ohio and asked and the manager said I could park there. When I arrived there was a big "No Overnight Parking" sign at the entrance, so I went in and double checked. She said that they are generally a no parking store, but since I called and asked, it was ok.

Hey Rocks, just out of curiosity I plugged that Walmart in my Rand this morning and it said truck parking was ok. Take it for what it's worth bit Rand hasn't steered me wrong about Walmart parking.
