Parked Here for the Night

At the Westar Travel Plaza in Cowpens, SC (Formerly Mr. Waffle). Being remodeled I decided to take a chance on their showers. Ok, I was starting to get overripe and needed one. Was not dissapointed. They are very nice. They don't have toilets in the showers but for $7 including bar soap washcloth and towel it's a bargain. That's the price you pay at the Vince Lombardi and that's using your own towel, etc.

I've been seeing that place at least twice a week and wondered about it. Looks nice from the road. However my fuel card has guaranteed us as a loyal TA/Petro customer, so I have never stopped in when the Duncan TA is just up the road (for $3.03 fuel last trip).

 

Been a busy week for me so far. Yesterday I again found the capital beltway a pleasure to drive at 0230 on the way out of DE. Then spent last night at the Carnesville, GA Petro to slip in to Atlanta pre-rush hour at 0430. Now savoring the goodness of a consignee that has their crap together (Costco), while enjoying the cup of coffee I brewed in the truck after installing a big inverter last month and finally getting around to buying a coffee maker and the goods to use it with. Simply awesome to have a fresh cup anywhere in the same time it would take to go in to a truck stop and buy one.

Good things come to an end however. Leaving here I will dash over to Americold and reload for another lap thru VA before Friday. So close to home and no time to stop LOL.

Gonna be at tyson in Harrison tonite. They dump 24 hours so that means your there 12 at least. So I stopped at the corner of 62 and 65 to get enough stuff to make it lol
