TA in Denmark, TN. My goal was to make Kinston Springs but it took 3 1/2 hours to get around this

As I was cursing my luck, I realize the load wasn't going to be late and I'm blessed enough to be sitting in my truck cursing as opposed to being an unfortunate victim. Good reminder how quickly things can go bad out here. Stay safe everybody.

    Rocks and TruckDuo Thank this.

You are absolutely right.... we take a great risk in this job... and things can change our lifes forever in one second...
And unfortunately, I have been seeing more and more drivers doing very stupid and dangerous things on the road... not only passenger vehicles, but also semis... :biggrin_2554: Speeding senseless and tailgating, cutting too short in front of each other, not using signals, not using lights at all, driving too close to zipper and too close to each other, speeding behind you on the left lane when they see you trying to change lanes, or jumping on the right lane when you are trying to move back to right lane, not paying any attention when entering highway, the list goes on and on... Sometimes it's a "power from above" that "saves" us from a bad accident... :biggrin_2554:

    Be safe you all....

My father in law was headed to Southaven, MS and got caught up in that wreck aftermath.

Stopped in Coachella, CA again at the Love's. I was exhausted and couldn't go any farther.
