At the Flying J in Aurora, OR... 47 miles from our 0400 delivery in Vancouver, WA... I swear the only thing we are finding on the load boards are Christmas trees!! We don't want Christmas trees in our food grade reefer!! Sigh...

I am out Christmas shopping with the family.

Have I ever said about how much I like being home every weekend? :biggrin_25525:

Although now all the extra money I am making just gets spent so much faster .:biggrin_2559:

Just went to RedRobin for dinner and I believe $70 is a bit excessive , but I did have a few beers , so I guess thats about average.lol

Back at it tomorrow for a short week , I am gonna be done wednesday morning . I will have a three day weekend . Nice !!!!!!

Not parked, technically! Got a load of bed toppers to unload, then boogie back to Bama. Pick up a 5 stop dry van load tomorrow, that's starts in Charleston Wv and finals in Clearfield Pa. Trying to get empty so can beat the rain out of here. Check with y'all in a bit.

At the Pilot in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.... 3.5 hrs from my unload in Atlanfa for 1am on Monday Morning...yuck.... I aint complaining...they are working me home for thanksgiving....
Whoever laid out this parking lot was blind or dumb...or both...

On another note...had my first lot lizard knock on my door last night in Fort Worth. 11 months since I started driving. Ive had beggars, wheel polishers, even 2 different guys at rest areas try to pick me up...lol.... but this was my first lot lizard. I was starting to think there was something wrong with me!!! Lol I just told her no thanks.

That pilot used to be called Baggetts. It's been around for a good number of years. I lived not far from there when I was little and they had a real restaurant, complete with the old breed chicken haulers, bull haulers and such. I never stood a chance!

I have been going in there since I was a kid riding with my Dads brother. A Bullhauler naturally. I didn't stand a chance either. My Dad was a coal bucket Outlaw.

I hear that! My granddad had trucks back in the 60's so I grew up listening to some of his tales. He retired as an underground miner but those dern trucks got stuck in my head. Trucking kinda puts a crimp in the team roping but somebody gotta do it! When they sold out to Pilot I couldn't believe it.
