Yes... there is... My Truck stop directory guide shows RMZ as a pay parking.... I guess I will know for sure if I go there...
Now I am parked at a rest area in VA... planning on leaving at mid nite when I gain hrs.... and to avoid traffic... Hopefully the weather and the roads will be ok ...

 

HEY Pete... I decided to call RMZ truck stop and they said they are closed for CONSTRUCTION till Janurary... Guy said they are building a bigger parking lot with restaurant and more....
And... today I noticed the TA on I-81 VA xt 150B has totally closed... Does anybody know what it's going to be there?

 

Parked at the house till Monday in the am. Unless I decide to take the other ol Pete out

Closed 15th of this month. State took the land to build a new interchange there. Somebody posted a press release from vadot on here somewhere in another thread.

rmz was $10 last time I was there. Real dump. Maybe they'll redo the bathroom too. So nasty I didn't even want to stand up to pee in there.

 

And whoever is at home with family -- be doubly safe!

There was a restaurant there? I always just assumed it was that grill that charges $7 for costco hamburgers.

LOL... THAT nasty huh? And still charge $ 10.00!? WOW... If it's too nasty for a guy to pee there, then I (am a lady) would prefer to pee in my private toilet inside the truck... Oopps... TMI huh?

Well... gotta go now... having my meal in the truck and heading to bed... gotta beat the traffic tomorrow....

wasn't gender specific so yeah I guess they expected a girl to go in and sit. I almost just waited till pitch dark to walk behind the truck but didn't. And #### sure didn't touch anything.

As as late as I got in there $10 was a bargain to find a spot. The walmart I dropped at up the road in Raymond said go away.

Sure don't miss those days and glad I don't run up there anymore. Sucks to be out on the holiday but Florida and holiday pay bonus for running makes up for it hehehe and home by Saturday so it's all good
