Parked Here for the Night

At the end of DSP's working day she sent me load assignment... Pick up about 3 hrs from here... will leave this TA at 3 am. Will have to limit my working hrs till delivery on Friday near Dallas, TX...
Hey, the other day I parked at a truck stop in York, AL.... Marathon I think... Truck stop guide "said" it was large... I thought it was a nice one... but the place was sooo running down... The bathroom was kinda filthy... One of those that Cranky wouldn't go...

 

All those years on the boat for weeks at a time and a 5 gallon bucket I have paid my dues already

 

st.matthews,sc. wilco/hess of all places to park it. huger,sc in the early morning to off my load and then put'er in the wind to reload in athens,ga. THAT will be one heck of a deadhead. my concern is the bridge law and the 78,800 gross within the confines of 39' and the last I26 east bound coop.

why do people that are supposedly broke and begging always have a cig to smoke? certainly makes me less prone to donate-

Kenly NC at the Petro. Delivering some scrap metal to Charleton SC area in the morning. Ms. Rocks apparently passed me this morning headed in the opposite direction as she is in my neck of the woods but I didn't see her as I assumed she had already passed through.

 

After my delivery in Hebron, KY on Wdnesday there is a very good chance I will be headed to Dallas myself for a Friday delivery. Really depends on what I can get coming out though that will allow me to circle around and get back me back to Houston by Christmas Eve that will get me paid and not run me out of hours.

If not I will hang in the east for a few days before I head toward Texas

 

TA Moriarty Nm. Kinda chilly over here. Time for dinner and a show! Got out of Dallas, then wind surfed up to Amarillo, not too bad. Rocks, that lil truck stop at York used to be better. Stopped there several times in years past cause they had a good lil restaurant in there. Used to be called The Briar Patch. Good home style cookin, but it has gone downhill the last few years. Welp y'all have a good evening. Check y'all later!

 

Exit 8 if I recall ?? The buffet was outstanding at one time, haven't been in there in years because it has gone down hill so bad..

Just pulled off in my hideaway in southern Penn-syl-tucky..

Knowing what I know about the 81 corridor parking will be limited tonight going south.....I'd rather not deal with it.
