Parked Here for the Night

Yes... you are right about the location... But I can't say anything about the buffet... Had a flatizza at Subway...

Moved three trailers at co. warehouse in IN last night... Hooking and unhooking and hooking and unhooking again... sliding tandems till midnight... Slept for less than 5 hrs and headed to Zanesville, OH this morning for another drop & hook... Came back to Elkhart, Indiana and will crash in bed right after I finish my meal here...
Will do another drop and hook tomorrow morning and head to another shipper in OH and then head to PA...

 

Landed at Jimmy Carter International. Taxied to the Goshen Springs terminal. 11am is first call for boarding. Just in time to be finished with 8 hr layover. Thank you for rolling the friendly highs with yours truly dinomite. Y'all come back now ya hear!

 

West Memphis Flying J. Would much rather park at the casino but I need a shower. Had to explain to the gentleman when I got here that guiding me into a straight back parking spot when I didn't ask for help is not worth a $1.

He didn't even ask. He just said "gimme a dollar"

Im home!!! Got unloaded at Campbell Soup in Maxton, NC, then dumped the trailer at our droplot and bobtailed home....
Been out 24 days... taking a week off and headed up to Jersey to visit family.....

 

Maxton is no better...lol. At least you didn't have to stay. What part of Jersey you have family?

 

That was my first time in Maxton....but ive heard some stories... lol

My family lives in Morristown, NJ. Thats where I grew up.

 

Well I hadn't planned on being Parked here for the night, but I'm still in York Pa. At least I'll get a 10 out of this deal. Then it's off to Hotlanta, followed by a few more days at the ranch. After the 1st I'll probably be a lil more motivated. Anywho gonna grab 10 or 15 more winks, check y'all later!

 

I never parked there... and hopefully will never do... I get kinda worried that those folks asking for money may do some damage to the truck if I don't give them anything...

 

Dropped loaded trailer at co. warehouse in IN and left there this morning.... was reloaded somewhere in OH... and headed to co. warehouse in PA... arrived in PA with 16 mins left from my 11 hrs... Was going to be the only one here... But another driver arrived... This yard is EXTREMELY tiny... they may need us to leave after unloaded in the morning... But there's no place to go nearby and I will have to wait till dsp arrives in the morning to tell me where to go next...

 

Pulled the yella. At the blue grass west bound rest haven. My normal place to kick back n relax when I'm Rollin thru the KY state always plenty of parking.

My appointment window for current load was 11 to 1600. Emptied in Norcross at 1600 but still was able to get bloody trailer washed out and loaded from the rooter to the tooter. With Georgia's finest carpet.

Guess all the truckers are back from holiday. Truck stops and rest area's seem to be back to over capacity. We'll this report was brought to you by your friends at pilot/flying. Where shower power is what's up.
