My father in law once pulled in there and assumed it was packed because of all the drivers double parked. Parked on the road. Parked all along the entrance. He left and parked on a ramp. I told him next time pull past the first three rows. The lot is huge. Once you get passed all the lazy drivers fighting for front row parking there's like three rows that are hardly ever full.Working Class Patriot, allniter, Dinomite and 4 others Thank this.

Seems to be the story in many places.Truckergirl0720 and SheepDog Thank this.

Weatherford Petro can appear packed. Go to the left side of the shop and that whole row along the edge the lot is empty almost all night.Truckergirl0720 Thanks this.

I see them parked on the ramps at the rest areas and the entire rest area in empty. I know it is not from the night before. I watched a guy stop there and later the truck still was there. Hours later. -
you can only waddle so far
or afraid you might not get a pull thru spot -

That's the way things can work on the fuel islands too...everyone crams in to the first 3 islands and the end ones are empty.

Case in point. I stop to fuel on Christmas day. Fuel island is empty unusual for the Zanesville, Ohio Love's. I park at the one next to the building and take my time fueling, grabbing a snack, etc. I didn't pull forward since there was nobody around and figured who would park behind me with an empty fuel island? I come out and there's only 2 other trucks fueling at 18 and 19 the rest of the fuel islands were empty and a mega fleet truck parked behind me with the driver giving me dirty looks. I get in and pull forward to do my logs and notice him get out and waddle his portly self inside. Apparently he was in no hurry to fuel....or walkTruckergirl0720 Thanks this.

That's like a T/A that I won't mention where it is, in the front, they're practically parking on top of each other, but all the nice trucks are parked in the back and it finally gets full late at night.
