Lumpers took a combined 10 hours at both ends to load and unload a trailer.

Only 172 miles point to point and most of the day was spent at a dock.

Even with *ahem* paper logs, I'm gonna shut down for 10.

Somewhere on a side highway in MD between DC & Balt.

Ugh. Hope it all works out.

Either way I would imagine you guys wouldn't have trouble finding a good company to work for I just hope it doesn't come down to that.

I'd stick it out just a little bit. You've obviously already been driving, so it's not like the first truck ever for you. Maybe someone in their shop will be able to help once the big brains get un-knotted from making mountains out of molehills.

For what it's worth, I bought a replacement steering wheel for my truck at the last Louisville show for under $100 if memory serves. Takes about 5 minutes to install, including two breaks.

    Rocks and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Since I'll be rolling into El Paso tomorrow morning before 9, my dispatcher asked me to please deliver this load. I said ok. It's only like a block from my sister in laws house in the lower valley, lol. You can spit and hit Juarez.

They must not have too much confidence in that Prostar, lol.

Just move to El Paso and team with us, you'll get a Volvo 780 guaranteed. All the freight shakers are gone.
