Parked Here for the Night

Black river falls, wi. Was looking like I was going to go through the winter without getting up here. Should have known better than that lol waiting on the snow to start. Be nice and white when I wake up. Could have made the DC if my preload yesterday had actually been preloaded. Was 25 minutes short of making it there.

 

Drove all my available hrs... Get 8 back at midnight. I'll leave this rest area in Blacksburg SC about 3am so I can roll into Atlanta for a 9am appointment. Then headed to reload in Villa Rica GA and rolling towards Mo.
major fatality accident at the 92 on 85.... Backed up to the 102... Glad I'm sitting still near a bathroom!

 

Was thru there earlier today and must've missed that one. Although there was a mess on the GA side of the bridge at the state line that caused a 10 minute delay. Fortunately those involved threw their wreckage into the median and shoulder.

I usually stop at that welcome center (Blacksburg SB) to walk the dog. OR a power nap too once in a while. Nice facilities and usually a space even in the middle of the night. Today my addiction to QuikTrip apple tea and roller taquitos dictated delaying my break 15 more minutes to exit 90.

Watching TV in my room in Versailles, OH. Day two of orientation in the books. Tomorrow is policies and procedures, meet the operations staff, get assigned a truck, and hopefully roll with a load by mid afternoon.
