I would have run it, but 12k is the max I can legally run. Tires are rated for 13,220, but the axle is 12,000.

Congrats! I called in an atta boy once when I saw an alert driver for a regional LTL avoid what I was sure would be an accident. The safety dept guy sounded all glum answering the phone, but he perked right up when he heard praise. You could tell it made his day too...

    Rocks and FatDaddy Thank this.

My co. does not want us to be over the legal weight at all... :biggrin_25512: A couple times they told me I could tell customer to either rearrange the load, or take some out so we could be legal, if not, they told me, tell the customer to take it ALL out of the truck cause we don't run illegal.

I don't advocate running illegal either but his tires were rated to carry over 12K so he was legal. Besides as I said that weight burns off in 100 miles anyway. First time I ever saw a scale ticket at exactly 80K.

    Rocks Thanks this.
  5. Open up a YouTube account. You can upload to it. Depending on your dashcam. Pull card. Slap in a laptop and upload. Lol

  7. Ya true. Been debating on posting any YouTube links to dash cams I've uploaded already.

Hey Pete - guys - For whatever reason, I can't get on page 653 of this thread, and I know I posted there ........ weird .......... Anyway, I PM'd ya Pete about Byfield, if you were replying to that. If Byfield WAS rough and tumble, it's turned into a quiet little town of old coots ( like us ? ).
