Now parked at a FJ on I-81 TN... White Pine... just because I needed a shower pretty bad... to get rid of all that salt from the road...
Will start driving at 3 am and will do a drop and hook around 6:30 am and then head to Rhode Island...Darn! Back to snow land...
Will deliver at one of those darn tiny places at a residential area where trucks are not suppose to go...
And they don't have overnight parking due to the increased amount of snow fall they had...
Hey anybody familiar with that Pilot in Stonington, CT? Wondering if it gets very congested/ full on a Saturday at noon...
I will need to park for the weekend nearby southwest of Providence... but it seems that Pilot is the closest free truck stop around... Well... there's a rest area on I-95 in RI... but not sure I want to spend a weekend there...
Any ideas are well appreciated...![]()

Pilot in Stonington has a huge lot in the back. You won't have any trouble parking there. Haven't been there in 2 years though.Rocks Thanks this.

The Stonington Pilot is the one right on the border of Rhode Island if it's the one I'm thinking of. Nathan's inside. If that's the one it has a bunch of parking as you go in past the pumps and off to the right almost it seems a seperate lot.

BTW, my dad had surgery yesterday and I talked to him today... the man is STRONG like a horse...
He said he wasn't feeling much any pain and wanted to go home... I hope his recovery doesn't take very long and that there are no other problems due to his diabetes... My co. said the FMLA doctor sent via fax was not legible and will need him to mail the original... So... it's going to take a while to get that autorized...
RedForeman, Giggles the Original, ampm wayne and 5 others Thank this.
