that's one of the (many) reasons I left my previous company as well........providence and Pawtucket were 2 places I always hated to go in a truck. I just got tired of running up there every week for no other reason than I would and not complain about it. haven't seen anything near the area since I've been gone from there.

just had one of my former students call me yesterday asking how to get into and out of one of the places in Pawtucket I used to go to. it was his first time in there. he called me back later and told me it took him almost 30 minutes between getting a hole in traffic big enough to get started back to block the traffic and getting off the street into the not quite big enough dock lol

I don't miss that #### one bit lol

 

Yes... looking at those other folks out there... I guess I had a lot of fun playing in the snow with my shovel... in the yard with truck...
Depending on weather, I may not be going anywhere tomorrow... I would rather get my 34 than face snow and ice around here...

 

Decided to shut down in Larami Petro where there's plenty of parking....maybe It will be cleaned up before I get too much further...may just do a reset...Cowboys by 14...

 

Well I been at it a day or two myself&I chose wrong lol.....aint no point in goin any futher tonite...you know its gonna be bad when a receiver in BUFFALO calls ya and says not to bother...tol me ifn I wanted to fight it...someone would b there to unload me&I'm welcome to stay...but rest of load I need to get to leave is still in Iowa somewhere &they don't expect them till Tues am...and he's already cancelled most of his trucks....says 10-14 w/35+mph winds from this eve thru late afternoon Monday....aint happy bout it...but what ya gonna do....so I'm at one of my least favorite places...a #### hook....juzt north of Buckeye capital....but no sence pushin&endin up on a ramp...or just on 90 someplace as it starts to blow shut up there like it always does&strands 1/2 of western ny&pa....so we'll see in the am....ho hum..

Thank you Mr. flyingmusician... I like the opportunity to learn new and challenging experiences... but places like those totally SUCK... too much stress, too many opportunities for something to go wrong and then, it will be on my record...
On top of all that today, as I was entering circle ramp to I-95 South... I encountered two disable vehicles parked next to the right curb in that circle ramp... Good thing I was 20 mph.... Guy got out of the car and shouted, "I can't move my vehicle"... I had to run over the snow covered slope on the left side of the curve to barely miss those cars... What a freaking place....
